PART-TIME DRIVER’S MATE – WEEKEND ROLE

BBcastle Hire is looking for a reliable and hardworking Driver’s Mate to join our weekend delivery team.

This part-time role could be ideal for someone who attends college during the week and would like to earn extra money at weekends. A driving licence is not required, as you will be assisting one of our drivers.

WHAT WILL THE ROLE INVOLVE?

Your duties will include:

Helping load and unload inflatables and event equipment
Assisting with deliveries and collections
Helping to set up and dismantle bouncy castles and other inflatables
Placing safety mats, blowers and extension leads correctly
Keeping equipment and vehicles organised
Supervising inflatables at selected events
Following instructions and company safety procedures

WHO WOULD SUIT THIS POSITION?

This is a practical, active role involving regular lifting and moving of heavy equipment. Applicants must be:

Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
Reliable and punctual
Available to work weekends
Able to follow instructions carefully
Polite and professional when dealing with customers
Comfortable working outdoors and travelling between bookings
Willing to work as part of a busy delivery team

This is not a desk-based position. You will be active throughout the shift, helping the team complete deliveries, installations and collections safely and efficiently.

WORKING HOURS

The role is primarily at weekends. Start and finish times will vary depending on the number and location of bookings, so some flexibility will be required.
