Penalty Shootout Hire in Leicester, Hinckley & Lutterworth
Ball down. Pick your target. A couple of steps backwards. Someone behind you is already predicting you're going to miss.
Then you take the shot.
Our inflatable Penalty Shootout turns one of football's simplest ideas into an activity for parties, school events, football celebrations, charity days and larger events. Players take turns shooting towards the target areas, making it an easy concept to incorporate into a football-themed occasion.
BB Castle Hire provides Penalty Shootout hire in Leicester, Hinckley, Lutterworth, Market Harborough and other parts of Leicestershire.
No Complicated Rules. Just Put the Ball Through the Target.
Some event activities need explaining before anybody can start. Penalty Shootout has the advantage of being immediately recognisable to anyone familiar with football.
Players shoot the football towards the target openings and see how they get on. From there, you can keep things informal or introduce your own scoring format if you're organising a competition.
One person takes a turn, retrieves or hands over the ball and the next player steps forward. That makes the attraction particularly useful when you want an activity people can join without committing to a long game.
Football Birthday? Start With the Thing They Already Love.
If the birthday child spends half the week talking about football, you probably don't need to invent a complicated party theme.
A Penalty Shootout gives the celebration an actual football activity rather than relying entirely on decorations. Children can take shots throughout the party, compare attempts and keep coming back for another go.
You can keep the setup focused around football or combine it with a Bouncy Castle to provide a completely different activity alongside it.
One Football Game Might Lead to Another
Penalty Shootout tests one familiar football skill. Football Darts changes the target and gives players another way to test their shooting.
Putting different football activities together can create a small football zone rather than asking one attraction to carry the entire theme.
Our wider Football range provides more football-themed equipment, while Football Package 1 and Football Package 2 are useful places to start if you'd prefer a package option.
Keep Score or Don't. Both Work.
You don't have to turn every Penalty Shootout booking into a formal competition.
At a birthday party, children can simply take turns whenever they want. At a school fair or organised event, you might decide to record scores, set a number of attempts or run your own competition during the day.
That flexibility means the same attraction can play quite different roles. It can be casual entertainment in somebody's garden or one clearly defined activity within a much larger programme.
At a School Event, Everyone Understands the Whistle
Football activities fit naturally into school sports days, fairs, reward events and end-of-term entertainment because they can operate as individual activity stations.
Rather than putting every pupil onto the same large attraction, you can divide the available field into different areas. One section might contain football activities, another could have Garden Games, while larger inflatables operate elsewhere.
Schools and PTAs can browse our School Events page for more equipment ideas.
Give the Football Club Something Different for Presentation Day
Presentation days and end-of-season club events already have football at the centre of the occasion. An inflatable football activity can extend that theme beyond the trophies and presentations themselves.
Set it up as an additional activity and players can take shots between other parts of the day. If you've got more space, adding a second football game gives people somewhere else to move to after they've taken their turn.
It doesn't need to replace the football match. It gives the rest of the event another football-related feature.
Three Shots for a Pound? That's Up to the Organiser.
At a charity event or school fundraiser, organisers may choose to incorporate Penalty Shootout into their own fundraising activity.
For example, you could decide how many attempts each participant receives, whether scores are recorded and whether your event offers a prize. Those arrangements are controlled by the organiser rather than being a fixed part of the equipment hire.
That gives you room to adapt the activity to the format of your particular fundraiser. Our Charity & Fundraising page has more ideas for building entertainment around this type of event.
A Fun Day Needs Attractions People Can Dip In and Out Of
At a public or community event, visitors don't necessarily arrive at the same time or follow a fixed programme. Attractions that can be approached for a turn and then left again can fit neatly into that environment.
Penalty Shootout can form one stop on a larger event site, with Interactive Inflatables, slides, games and Fun Foods providing other destinations.
For larger community occasions, our Fun Day Hire and Event Hire pages cover more of the available range.
Corporate Event? Settle the Office Football Argument Properly.
Every workplace seems to contain at least one person who is convinced they should have been a professional footballer.
A Penalty Shootout gives them the opportunity to demonstrate the evidence.
For company family days and informal staff events, football activities can provide a straightforward participation point alongside larger entertainment. Colleagues can compare scores, families can take turns and the attraction doesn't need to become the entire focus of the day.
Businesses planning a larger programme can explore Corporate Events for more options.
Give the Shooter Enough Room
When measuring for a Penalty Shootout, don't think only about the inflatable itself. Players also need an appropriate area in front of the unit from which to take their shots.
Check the product dimensions and operating requirements before booking, then look at the whole proposed setup area. Consider fences, trees, paths, buildings, other attractions and routes people need to use during the event.
Outdoor inflatable installations generally require suitable real grass for secure anchoring. If you're considering an indoor booking, check usable floor dimensions, ceiling clearance and access with the venue.
Our Venues For Hire directory can help if you're still researching a suitable local hall or event space.
No Socket Beside the Pitch?
School fields, sports grounds and outdoor event sites don't always have convenient mains electricity where you want the attraction positioned.
For suitable bookings, Generator Hire can provide an alternative power option. Tell us what equipment you're planning to hire and what facilities are available at the site so the power requirements can be considered as part of the booking.
What's Supplied With the Penalty Shootout?
The hire includes the inflatable Penalty Shootout and the equipment required for its appropriate operation as supplied by BB Castle Hire. Footballs are provided for the activity.
A £20 refundable deposit applies to the footballs. Provided the footballs are returned at collection in accordance with the hire arrangements, the £20 deposit is refunded.
